›Me and Alfie‹ ist eine vergnügliche und visuelle Theatererfahrung der preisgekrönten schottischen Theaterkompanie ›Frozen Charlotte‹, speziell konzipiert für Kinder zwischen 3 und 6 Jahren und deren Familien.
»Nein!« ist Alfies Lieblingswort. Michael sagt oft »Ja«. Alfie kann nicht glauben, zu was Michael alles »Ja« sagt: »Michael, gib mir das Buch!«, »Michael, kriech in die Mülltonne!«, »Michael, gib mir deine Kekse!«. Alfie amüsiert sich prächtig. Für Michael könnte es besser laufen.
›Me and Alfie‹ nutzt zeitgenössische Tanz- und Bewegungsformen, um das Kräftemessen zwischen zwei Jungen zu erkunden. Mit Live-Musik und einer Sprache, die auf die Worte »Ja« und »Nein« reduziert wird, erforschen die beiden Performer, welches der beiden Wörter mehr Spaß verspricht und welches den meisten Ärger einbringt …

»No!« is Alfie’s favourite word. Michael says »Yes« a lot. Alfie can’t believe the things Michael will say »Yes« to: »Michael, give me the book!«, »Michael, get in the bin!«, »Michael, give me your biscuits!«. Alfie is having a great time. For Michael things could be better.
›Me and Alfie‹ uses contemporary dance and movement to explore the push and pull of the rough and tough relationship between two boys. With live music and language limited to »Yes« and »No« two performers explore which of these words can lead to the most fun and which can get them into the most trouble …
